I think reinvigorating the Foundation is a watershed moment in police-community relations. The quality of the community leaders who stepped forward to serve on the board is outstanding. They have each graciously agreed to devote their time to supporting our police officers and building bridges between the officers and the diverse community that is Laguna Beach. Their work is particularly important to our ability to attract and retain high-quality officers in today’s highly challenging environment for law enforcement nationwide. I hope you will join me in supporting the Foundation and its mission to promote a safer Laguna Beach.
